The gratitude attitude and random positive thoughts

Dear readers; I am sure all of us go through a lot of ups and downs in life. Some situations really challenge the best of us. This month I realised that money doesn't actually solve all the problems in your life; specially the problems that are to do with relationships. I am not saying that money cannot solve any problems, what I am saying is that it can't solve all your problems. Money is a means/ tool that can be used to facilitate the cost of living but it's not life. I am sure that someone who is battling a critical illness, a life battling one; is going to get back at me for that statement; do you know how much does hospitalisation cost?

Today's post is all about the attitude of gratitude. Why you may ask and allow me to elaborate as the content of this post. Also added bonus, positive messages that will bring in the right frame of mind as you battle todays challenges.

“If you concentrate on what you have, you’ll always have more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you’ll never have enough.” - Lewis Howes

An attitude of gratitude means making the conscious habit of expressing appreciation on a regular basis for big and small things alike. We may be grateful for our relationships, health, business, material items, food in our cupboards, running water in our homes, and our overall sense of well-being.

It can be really difficult to think of things you are grateful for when everything in your life seems to be going wrong. Countless studies show that for many people, finding a bit of thankfulness each day can actually increase happiness levels and decrease depression. By developing an Attitude of Gratitude, we can feel more fulfilled and joyful each day.

An Attitude of Gratitude is a regular habit to express appreciation for all different parts of life, no matter how small.

Here are 5 Ways to Develop an Attitude of Gratitude which I stole from the internet!

1. Appreciate everything

2. Express gratitude every day

3. Surround yourself with gratitude mindset focused people

4. Take ownership of your present

5. Commit to a gratitude practice

If you want a detailed instruction on how to go about implementing the above techniques/ ways of creating an attitude of gratitude; you can visit the website I stole this from HERE

Here are some really good positive thoughts that will help usher in the attitude of gratitude:

It takes a little practice and conscious effort, but a smile is the single most tell-tale sign of appreciation and positive thinking.

Living with authenticity is living wholistically. Because living authentically is an expression of Self-Love.

As we celebrate this day, let us remember that there is balance in all things, day and night, light and dark, life and death, good fortune and misfortune.
