It's a movement to dismantle a systemic barrier. It’s about ensuring that the very technology designed to empower people with disabilities isn't kept just out of reach due to cost. As others have argued, like in the iMore article that states, "Apple should consider discounts for people with disabilities," this is a recognized need, not a fringe idea.
