Chew Your Food, Not Your Conscience: A Guide to Dietary Hypocrisy

Ah, another day, another self-righteous food crusade shoved down our throats by someone who probably gets breathless walking up a flight of stairs. Suddenly, you can’t enjoy a sandwich without a side order of existential guilt. Is being a vegetarian actually saving the planet, or is it just a convenient way for people to feel morally superior while munching on overpriced imported avocados? And let’s talk about your local scripture: is eating animals genuinely against your religion, or are you just using ancient text as a shield because you lack the spine to admit you prefer a salad? If divine law wasn't looking over your shoulder, would you secretly indulge in a juicy burger like everybody else?

Then, of course, we have the crown jewel of absurd carnivore defense mechanisms: the classic claim that plants feel pain, too, proudly rolled out to prove how much you supposedly love eating meat. Spare me the botany lesson, Tarzan. Nobody is weeping over a chopped carrot, and equating a sliced tomato to a slaughtered cow is a mental gymnastics routine that belongs in the Olympics. Meanwhile, some internet influencer with a ring light and a sponsored juice cleanse is screeching that going vegan is the ultimate solution to all planetary woes. Listen, eat what makes your body feel good, because food is meant to satisfy nutritional needs and provide energy—not serve as a purity test for your soul.

Help us keep the lights on by showing your LOVE

Let’s drop the theatrics. Don't sit there and bullshit us about why killing animals is inherently brutal while you ignore a hundred other systemic realities, nor should you panic because your stupid holy book happens to forbid a specific cut of meat. The absolute worst culprit is the trend-hopping influencer telling you how to live, as if you aren't already susceptible to believing you might just be worshiping the wrong God anyway. Unless you actually have a legitimate medical reason to restrict your diet, stop playing nutritional roulette. Don't be a self-appointed superhero trying to challenge your doctor just because you watched a two-minute clip on social media. You are entirely free to choose your food, but letting internet clowns override actual medical science is a whole new level of foolishness.

Here is the bottom line from my end: I personally do not judge you for what you eat, why you eat it, or why you avoid what you avoid. I don't care about those specific calendar days where you arbitrarily decide to skip meat, and frankly, I don't want to hear the utter bullshit excuses for it. Stop offering unsolicited justifications for your plate, and more importantly, stop trying to lay a guilt trip on me by judging mine. Whether you're hunting down a cast iron skillet for your steaks or ordering a fancy blender for your kale concoctions, the choice is yours alone. Eat your veggies, devour your meat, or subsist on good intentions—just let the rest of us eat in peace without a side of unsolicited preaching.
